Stephanie Smith is a former biologist turned pastry chef. Her husband Rory, along with canine companions Jaeger and Aska join her on Lopez every weekend. A few years back, Stephanie decided it was time for a career change from wetland biology and enrolled at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts to fulfill her life-long passion of baking and making exquisite delights. After graduating she helped open a french bakery on the Microsoft campus. She was then promoted to Pastry Sous Chef, in charge of the bakery at Microsoft’s rigorous catering group.
